Hey guys,
So, I'm having another problem with my 01 Santa Fe.
I recently took it to the mechanic for an axel change.
I drove it for a bit when it was done. Parked it.
Went home, came back after maybe an hour, turned the car on, and it started, then died.
I popped the hood to see that the camshaft sensor wires were all out. A while ago, my mechanic put silicone in the sensor to keep them in. I found a burned out ecu fuse, so I replaced it.
Anyway, the wires were out.. and doesn't start.
I had to have the car towed to the mechanic, and after 4 days of being there, they can't figure out whats wrong.
They did many things, including checked and reset my timing belt.
Changed my crankshaft position sensor, changed the camshaft sensor twice. Checked the wiring. Tried changing the ignition module sensor, still nothing.
Car is still reading camsensor failure.
Anyone have any ideas?
