Hi, I have a Santa Fe 2.2 CRTD CDX+7 2007 UK model.
I've recently installed a new 2 din stereo to replace the awful radio Cd cassette standard fit. It comes with GPS, CD, DVD, iPod, Bluetooth, RDS radio, Aux, Reversing camera, USB input, SD input. Very happy with the unit, it is designed for my model so looks the business.
However, although I was told it was plug and play, it has its own 45w x 4 built in amplifier and my model has an amplifier under the drivers seat (model No. AUDIO AMPLIFIER 96300-2B800). The volume is obviously too high because it has 2 amps working it. The seller has since told me to "simply" by-pass the amp by plugging the inlet and outlet connectors together. Well this is impossible to do as the 2 plugs are not only different sizes, but both male. Can anyone who knows my UK model offer me the by-pass solution please. Thankyou very much.
