130 drivers door auto lock function

Hi, the auto lock function on my 61 (2011) plate I30 will only open the doors not lock them, is there a solenoid for this function I could not find one described in the hand book? Also should the electric door mirror switch/auto lock/rear window lock switch's light up when the main lights are turned on?
