I own a 2008 5spd Manual 1.6L Getz, and I have a really strange gearbox issue with my car. Basically what's happened is that the car can engage second, fourth and reverse just fine, but first, third and fifth just won't seem to sit in right. As in, they very occasionally grab, but it feels like there's some slack in the gearstick. I noticed one of the rubber bushings on the gear selector (at the engine bay end) was a little worn, but even after epoxying (as a temporary fix until i can get a new cable sorted...) that to keep it in one piece, it's improved a little... but it's still weird... Thoughts?
