HMA announced he stepped down as President & CEO today and will be replaced with another VP from sales.
Though his contract was up I can't help but think the explosive growth & recent issues, perceived or not with quality may have played a part. I spoke with him a few times, as any CEO he was open, friendly, engaging. I can't help but think he'll be sorely missed from not only the sales arena where he started but across the differing departments both nation and worldwide. Any CEO who liked to drive a Santa Fe Sport vs. any car in their lineup is a peoples person and shows his roots.
Good luck JK, someone else will gain a true professional in the near future, after a well deserved long vacation.
