I made a rookie mistake, I replaced my original headlight with a custom led projector halo set. I reused the stock halogen bulbs but they were not bright enough. I purchased a set of after market bulbs and now the heat from the new bulbs has created a per say melt spot in the clear housing of the head light :mad:. These are the bulbs I purchased on ebay;
H7 55W x2 pcs 12V High Low Fog Xenon HID Super White for headlight
H8 55W 12V pair High/ Fog Light Xenon HID Super White for Fog
The heat spot are not bad right now but if I continue to use these bulbs I will have to replace these brand new headlights which were not cheap.
I am looking for a bright bulb, not really interested in going HID for low bean and fog but if that's my only option then I'll take the hit.
Any recommendations?
