Hey guys! I recently bought a 2007 Santa Fe (Limited) after hitting a deer with my 2002. I'd also hit a deer on my Yamaha Fz6 about 3 months prior, so deer clearly hate me and my venison intake is about to go through the roof as revenge.
I'm 25 and in college and I went from owning my 2002 to having to make $250 monthly payments on my 2007 as I couldn't afford to buy a new car and my insurance simply refused to pay anything... I didn't really know what else to do.
While the engine itself is fine, several components under the hood are not; radiator, water pump, etc. It impacted on the passenger side of the front bumper and did a LOT more damage than you'd think a deer could do.
I can get about $400 to scrap the car, but I'd like to get whatever I can out of it. If anybody needs any sort of replacement part from it, please let me know! I am happy to provide pictures with my username and can even show pictures of the accident/deer if you're interested - fun fact, the police officer took the deer with him to cook it. Weird.
The car was in average condition, beige leather seats, factory radio (I took my touch screen out), I don't really know what else to list. Nothing was broken in regards to the interior except for the center console armrest, which pretty much fell apart as soon as I got the car (the yellow plastic inside just cracked apart and started falling out).
If there's anything anybody needs let me know and I will be happy to provide pictures, answer questions, anything. I'm sorry if I've violated any rules in terms of new members making selling threads, I'm just pretty screwed by this whole thing and would like to be able to afford my next semester without needing to take out more student loans... if I'm even able to do that.
