I have a hyundai i20 sportz petrol car.
Yesterday my driver accidentally put 8 litres of diesel in it and drove near about a 100 kms. The car seemed to work fine, except for a lot of vibrations occurring in the muffler/silencer and a little odd smell. Later 2 litres of petrol was put in the car. Till now there is no other problem in the car(couldn't see any).
Now, i don't have much knowledge about cars and i am too worried. Will anything bad happen to it? And is there any way of resolving the matter with minimum cost?
I googled my problem and saw few people suggesting filling up the tank with petrol, would that be a great idea? Please help. Thank you.
