Underreacting TCS?

I remember Car and Driver magazine did an article about what car has a perfect, underreacting, and overreacting TCS+VSC. I have to say my Hyundai Elantra has an underreacting TCS+VSC. I tested it by going 15 MPH on a dead icy road that is never plowed. The TCS+VSC reacted too late. Furthermore, when accelerating, the TCS doesn't kick in all the time on super icy roads. In my experience, Hyundai, Ford, and Chrysler has got have the worst TCS+VSC system in the US. Best was probably Toyota. I've driven a Toyota Highlander and the system react instantaneously...............or maybe it is just my car? To those who want to argue, I don't rely on the TCS+VSC system; I use it as a driving aid.
