When does DRL/headlight come on?

Hey guys,
So I was curious, when does the DRL and high beam come on? I was under the impression that it's on 24/7 (as long as the car is on).

I turned the car on today but noticed that neither the DRL or the high beam are on. I'm wondering if my fuse is blown but I dont know which fuse it is.

I tried manually turning the high beam on and it works, manually turning the DRL on works too but on Auto mode, nothing is on.

I'm kinda worried if someone went wrong.
Please help
